Bhav Das-Romain

It's really hard to sound natural writing about myself but I'll try. I'm a non-binary Indian obsessed with all things fantasy. Writing stories has been my passion since it was rare to find Indian protagonists when I was kid. Thankfully, that's no longer the case. Even still, I hope to use fantasy as a bridge to introduce my culture to others. I dream of the day someone sees themselves in the heroes of my stories. When I'm not writing I play videogames and read. FFXIV is my second home but Madison, WI is my first. Both are shared with my wonderful spouse.

Project Glaive
For longer than high school junior Anand has been alive, terrifying rips in reality called rifts have ravaged the planet. Natural disasters and mysterious creatures continue to attack from within. The Global Protection Agency aims to solve humanity’s plight and Anand dreams of joining them. However, doing so means rejecting his parents' expectations and pursuing such a foolish, unrealistic goal.
But when a rift opens over his city, Anand doesn’t hesitate. With his friends at his side and an amped up power suit, he begins a journey to find an indomitable spirit that not even his family, a cataclysmic explosion, or a bloodthirsty beast can hold back.
The Hero's Right Hand
Kargon isn’t the chosen one; and he couldn’t be happier. Aisha, his best friend, suits the role of Hero far better. But drawing the sword from stone carries the heavy weight of expectations. Ones that can’t be faced alone. If joining her adventure is what Kargon has to do, he’s happy to oblige. But such a lifestyle has many dangers two small town soldiers aren’t ready for.Thankfully, the road ahead is filled with allies. Though an amnesiac elf, retired paladin, and newborn owlbear weren’t either of the duo’s first choice. With their help, it might be possible to figure out what’s threatening their home. But every lead uncovers dangerous revelations no one is prepared to face. They’ll have to tap into their pasts for clues on how to face the future. Getting out unscathed—mentally or physically—is a dream best forgotten. But that’s the life of an adventurer.
